Harm's Way

Harm's Way

A Chapter by Norma M Sutton

I've fallen into harms way
Collapsed beneath his spell
Opened wide in his guise
That left me wishing well

I've fallen into harms way
Left warm by imagined kiss
Warmth chilled by jilted twist
That left me well wished

I've fallen into harms way
Oh his arms I miss
The teasing smile that crossed miles
I must him well wish

I like the way you led me into the story in the poem. Many kinds of harms ways. I like the one you have in this poem. Nice story with a very good ending.A outstanding poem.

Memories of a once upon a time lover. Sweet, warm tender memories with perhaps a dark edge to them. This is an excellent poem.
