Tonight's Prayers

Tonight's Prayers

A Chapter by Norma M Sutton

Tonight's Prayers

Tonight's prayers sing of you.
Your path, your way, your heart.

Tonight I watch and listen to
Your voice rustling in the trees.

Tonight I watch and see your stars
In skies of midnight blue.

Tonight I feel the softness of your touch
As past me the wind doth brush

Tonight I smell your sweet perfume
Tumbling on windy bursts and swelling with every

rush.

Tonight I taste your bounty
Floating on the air.

Sweet are my nightly prayers
I feel your every touch.

Milky hands and cold night skies
It's you I reach and touch

The poem is beautiful. Prayer can be for many reasons. I like the reason for the prayer in your poem.
"Sweet are my nightly prayers
I feel your every touch."
Thank you for the excellent poem.
