Let it Snow

Let it Snow

A Poem by MsJewel

~~~
As stars that shine on winter nights
are to the moon's beauty
when snowflakes whisper in the wind
so was his love to me
And still he shines deep in my heart
and whispers in the glow
of winter nights and pale moons
Please love…let it snow
This was beautiful. A great many folks on the east coast got more snow than they bargained for these last few days, I was in the lower elevations and there was a torrential rain storm followed by forty mile an hour winds and lightning. It was quite the experience. At least there were no tornadoes here. I enjoyed the read. F.
Wow, this gave me shivers and not because it is cold but just the feeling, the expression of love, poetry like this just touches a person. Soft like snow flurries at twilight. Your poetry was always so filled with adoration and passion, and I am happy to see that some things never change. Beautiful as always, my friend.
The first snowfall on a clear crisp winters eve is magical. I also enjoy the thoughts and memeories it brings back and I always feel a warm glow flowing through me as I push my hands deep into my pockets and remember winters past.
