froggie

froggie

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

this just randomly popped into my head.

"
poor froggie
basking in the glow
of your own glory
on a rock in an ever-
dwindling pond of
oblivious minions,
you were too busy
watching for the
hawk to notice
the cat in the grass.

Maybe, but you're giving froggies a bad name! :(
Oh damn. I really love the imagery of this one. This is great. It brought a smile to face. Always gotta keep a lookout for those stealthy cats.

Well done.

Those damn cats are sneaky. And fast. Did yours drop a little dead present for you on the carpet? Never know what the cat will drag in next. Whimsical, I enjoyed this one.

I have a small cat. Any bug in the house. Is done. Animals give us reasons to write and laugh.
Ever seen a dog eat a toad? Possibly you have. But I'll bet you've never seen a dog eat a second toad.

This is clever. Sometimes we are too focused on one thing in life.. We need to be more aware of our surroundings. Those damn cats. ;)

Yep, and my dog would agree.
yes, tunnel vision is costly...

that pond dwindles...and we don't even notice
and we are so busy expecting the hawk to prey on the cat, we don't watch our back.
