Falling For The ONE

Cool water

Drizzles on my skin

As bright colors

Fall at my feet

Painting the world

Into a beautiful portrait.

 

The light breeze

Turns into a chilly wind

Breathing life into

My dried up lungs

By blowing the

Dirt of summer

Into the by and by.

 

The smell of smoke

From chimneys

Fresh from hibernating

Is refreshing

To my soul.

 

The taste of hot cocoa

Warms my heart

To its very core.

 

This change of seasons

From summer to autumn

Is like going from

Being burned by lust

To falling for the ONE.
