~Hello~

My name is Kaitlyn.

I'm 20 years old, and I live in the great state of Iowa, where we have ample amounts of cows and corn. Exciting, right?

Don't get me wrong! I love my home, my family, and my friends, but, like everyone else, I dream of much bigger, greater things. And I've found them in reading and writing.

I'm not very good at writing, but, gosh darn it, I'm working to get better. And with time and practice, I'm sure that I won't be so terrible at it. :)

As much as I like writing, I adore reading so much more. I've read just about everything that I can get my hands on. Textbooks, nonfiction novels, fantasy, science fiction, philosophy, etc. etc.

My favorite authors are Terry Pratchett , H.P. Lovecraft, and Plato.

I also love music. Music is pretty awesome. I really believe that with the lights dimmed down low, the right food, and the right music, you can create any kind of atmosphere that you want. :3

So this is me. Or, at least, it's a little bit about me.
If you want to know more, or just want to chat, then go ahead! I love getting to know new people. There's always so much that you can learn from talking with other people. :)
