Lies.

Lies.

A Poem by AleyshaRosa

they're here

oh I fear

all these

Mirrors

screaming

saying

all these things I

Cannot

why are you doing

this, oh all this cooing

i'm trying to

Tell

myself it's not true

all these thing I do

please, i am clean.

Lies.

Oh goodness... I love it! The structure is obviously badass but really the content is great as well. Nicely done girly! :D

I love this. It is so unique! I've never seen a poem like this before, and I love the desperation and pleading in the voice! Lovely, as usual!

excellent formatting...the side by side creating two separate poems that combine as one.

can read one without the other...

what the mirror shows us is what it is...the mirror cannot lie.

and what we see inside often scares us and scars us more.

The stairway of truth and wisdom is highly visible before our eyes. It's very true that mirrors cannot tell lies! Great job. I really loved this one. I enjoy your penmanship. I don't know if you have any favorite poems from my collection, but your poem here will be one of my favorites from yours. :)

Mirrors and the thoughs that speak of ourselves. The truth that hides in the depths of the mind. Great work.

I am telling you, you are either Ellen Hopkins in disguise on WC (which wouldn't surprise me if you actually were a famous author in disguise) or you are just incredibly talented at her same kind of poetry. A.W.E.some
