"In-Passing..."

"In-Passing..."

A Poem by Chris
"

A moment's reverie

"

“In-Passing…”

I've been a weed

…in God's garden - but oh the colors -

oh …the colors… were soooo worth it.

'In Passing'
Chris,
This passage is beautiful,Life like a garden. To experience and recognize, to remember the beauty, texture and emotion within the garden of your days is what we are all about. It is a work of art to give your response to what is in you as a piece of art. This poem feels like it belongs in a frame. When I think of your subject matter; the wild flowers in 'God's Garden' I know that they are beautiful and place there by the life's breezes. Anyhow I appreciated the opportunity just now to ponder the things the flowers, the colors, the experience of living.
Bless ya Chris!
Kathy

I do Renaissance Fairs in period Garb as I can.
This is such a beautiful thought...
to be the lowliest, yet be a thing of beauty and joy to others...
a great calling is not determined by just status or station in life.
Such a message in your words...

A weed with profound perception--not to mention, an attitude of gratitude.
Indeed, a royal weed. What else could recognize and appreciate "God's garden?"
For all us mere "weeds" out here, thanks for raising our aspirations!

Being born "old" does that sometimes. Thanks for the thoughts...
I really like this write, I like trying to look at certain flowers and see the shape they are in, Are they full of blossom or are they drenched in sadness by the rain. This is really good.

We don't always KNOW the reasons for so many whys... but we CAN share our thoughts.
This is brilliant . . . I found myself imagining all the ways your words apply to my own life too! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I like it, Chris🌻

I know many will think I'm a peasant, but I think most all kinds of flowers are flowers, and that they are quite beautiful … that even the ladies are beautiful flowers.
And, yes, some are naughtily colorful, too, to enjoy … a flower for every person, every mood, and need, that's what I say.

Yeah, I know whatcher sayin', Brother Weed --"worth it," indeed! ; )
Love it! ⁓ Richard 🍃
