Dancing Luminaries

Dancing Luminaries

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

Dancing till daybreak, with Aurora in stride.

Ascending sun is Maria's breath.

That gentle breeze freeing my wishes.

Waning stars hold their places.

While the wards of heaven waltz across my fanciful fancies .

With moonbeams dazzling the luminaries.

I reach for the stars.

It is indeed like watching a ballet of thoughts that couldn't be imagined more beautifully.
I have been lucky enough to see them in person, but it doesn't stop me from "bookmarking" them on YouTube.

Stunning words of the heavens; the aurora sky light in greens and pinks with rising sun makes for a joyous, dancing star show...making your wishes come true, freeing and healing your soul...to "reach for the stars"
very soft, flowing like a silent stream... beautiful!

Loved reading this. Made me want to look up into the sky and wish upon a star.

Lovely to read this one again Cherrie. How divine are these marvels to look at. Still on the bucket list :)

I've been listening to a song called northern lights for the last couple of nights from a group called Renaissance. ha The videos on youtube I see are amazing. Your poem is just as colorful. :)

You're welcome!
Love this great poem filled with imaginary.
After reading it several times I decided to read some of your reviews and I found that you ad changed a word or two..
and, you said you are done.. or some such words..
I find it so difficult to be "done" with a poem... When I go back to reread I always find something I need to change or add..
Crazy making... right...
Just want my message to flow effortlessly...
Really enjoyed your poem as I have enjoyed all of yours that i have read.

The Northern Lights sre on my bucket list. How I would love to see these first hand. I have seen a video and marvelled at the shimmering greens and violets. Like swathes of silk curtains being unfurled across the sky. I liked your description here very much Cherrie. I would reach for the sky too.

Thank you 😊 I think I'm done
Fizzling stopped my read; --- amazing, ambient, flickering, --- maybe something like these wouldn't have(?). Or maybe my nose itched, who knows. LOL --- Nonetheless, this was a beautiful poem with well-placed emotions.
