Yes I’ve been watching the heat waves on t v
We in aust are used to it though and we would not deal with overseas winters either
My fave season is summer with daylight savings

Love your haiku cherrie !

:) Thank you 😊
A sweet brevity... the sun's radiant rays can surely crumble a full blossom....the summer's heat is like melted wax... love it!

Oh Cherrie what a lovely little poem... The kind that one reads over and over again.
A real delight...which I loved.

Very lovely
True to form. True to how we all feel right now. Dried crumbles of human beings crushed by heavy rays of sun. We need a contest for poems about cool breezes. Next one I write is going to be just that. I hope your next poem is cool! This was a hot haiku.

Nice effort, Cherrie. Haiku is a challenge but you have captured essence well. I was reading about Haiku the other day and the author of that article stated that the first two lines set the stage and then the last line is the Aha! moment for the poet, the sudden grasp of an understanding.
I have no idea if that is right or wrong, though. But it is an interesting thought.

Excellent Cherrie and you have the magic of the 5-7-5 perfectly. People seem to think I have something against the 5-7-5 but I certainly don't. Whatever floats yr boat definitely.
