I cannot Sleep

some bad dreams could really hurt you....

The air I breathe is chocking me
this place is slowly killing me
deep inside I was torn apart over and over again
now I am brutally drenched in pain

 

 

This head trip isn’t far to reality
In this twisted wonderland

Forever I’ll be the guest of insanity
in this heavy atmosphere I cannot stand

With horror, I woke up
heart is beating so loud like a bass drum

Resounding the night’s scary hums

I tried to calm down but it wasn’t enough

Tears continuously falling

While my bitten lips are bleeding

I cannot sleep like a rock

When inside my heart there’s a shock

 

I tried to sleep full of sweet dreams
but it turned into nightmares full of screams
thoughts muddles up in my head

With eyes wide open, I stayed there in my bed

I made this poem because i had a very bad head trip.... and it gave me a lot of trouble like biting my lips and chocking my self while asleep.... -_-

is this what you were telling me last week (nung nagkekwentuhan tayo nung comp time) ??? that's kinda.....scary. it's really awful when you're having a nightmare and when you wake up, you just can't sleep. i have also been in that situation, minus the biting of lips and choking myself. :) anyway, it's a nice thing to write this.. everyone can sooo relate to this. i liked the unique style of the poem, especially the smooth flow of every line. LOVE IT!! ^_^

whoa, nightmares like that are scary! Sometimes though these nightmares are just something your inner self is trying to make you aware of whatever it is in your life that you should not pass by. Or it's possible it's just a bad dream. But sometimes even nightmares mean something even with its scary attributes. I love your poem. Makes me experience it through the piece! Nicely done! This is a good poem. I can relate I don't sleep as well either. Insomnia sucks and sitting in biting biting you're lip isn't a good thing. Choking your self while you sleep is kinda creepy...that's not a good thing either. I liked the flow to the poem. You did a nice job on this. Thanks for sharing.
