Witches and Stairs

I walk down into an abyss endless and forever

There is no end,

Only stops along the way.

Mine is the first one: Dagoth's realm of the dead.

I open a door and find a coven of witches waiting for me.

'Welcome, we have been waiting for you.'

The witches are crude, they always say just what is on their minds,

But before they can tell me more of what is up,

The third gatesman approaches. 

Selise, the coven mistress.

She is beautiful,

But with an air of pride and dominion.

Her long brown hair does not mask the immeasurable beauty in her face;

She reminds me so much of my beloved.
