Haiku - Wildlife

A Poem by JE Falcon
"

Haiku involving wildlife.

"

hillsides gather dew

birds bathe in water droplets

preen in the sunlight *** JE Falcon

young bull tests his legs

doing a buckaroo dance

runs off to nowhere *** JE Falcon

atop the tall tree

the hawk sits and watches life

swaying in a breeze *** JE Falcon

baby elephant

rolls around in the mud-pond

a new thing to learn *** JE Falcon

Elephants are interesting creatures.
I am especially fond of the first two.
a lot of us humans run to nowhere.

Yes, it's like getting to that place where you don't know anyone, but didn't try.
I love your Haiku's, very imaginative and well written. I think I like the elephant one the best, because I have seen baby elephant roll in the mud ponds in Africa and India.. a beauty, and a learning experience with mama watching.
Best, B

Thanks, Pat, they are all about the picture we gather in our memories.
Moments that demand to penned are always the best and most visual.
From the glistening dew to the twisting buck/kick of a yearling . I loved it.
