Summer Love- chap. 3- LOOONNNG

  Maddi kissed him for what seemed like an hour, but was really was only 30 seconds. She leaned out from him and he smiled, and hugged her. Just then they heard a voice coming from behind them. "Oh isn't that just so sweet?" said the voice. "I REALLY HATE SWEET." other voices laughed. Nick looked up from Maddi and held her hand. He saw a girl with black straight hair, and tan skin. She was with 4 other boys and 2 other girls. "Jordan." Nick said sharply. "Jordan used to like me in our school. Now she hates me because she asked me out last summer, and i said no." he told Maddi. "Yes, you did say no." said Jordan. "And that was the biggest mistake of your life." Jordan and the 6 people grabbed Maddi and Nick out of the water, and started messing with them. Jordan started punching Maddi. "YOU 13 YEAR OLD LITTLE TOOTY WOOTY GOODY TWO SHOES!" she screamed as she kicked her. Meanwhile, 2 of the boys and one of the girls were holding Nick back. "Stay back or you'll be twins with your little girlfriend!" They started laughing and Nick tried to get out of their grab, but they were too strong. Jordan slapped Maddi across the face and the 2 other boys and the other girl were pushing Maddi down. "Come on guys." said Jordan. "Let's get outta here." 

 

 Nick ran over to Maddi, who was screaming in pain. "MADDI!" She was bleeding on her cheek, and her arm was swollen. Nick and Maddi's parents came rushing over and knelt down at Maddi's side. She was now crying. "God, what happened?!" they asked. Nick told his parents the whole story, and and after he was finished, his brother Greg, started making fun of him. "OOOOOOOOOO, MY YITTLE WEENISH BROTHER HAS A GIRLFRIEND!" he exclaimed. "Shut up!" exclaimed Nick.

 

 

  Later that night, after Maddi had been taken care of, Nick came into her room and knelt down by her side. "Hey sweetie. How you feeling?" he asked her. "I'm feeling ok." she said. "Well maybe this will make you feel better." he kissed her lightly on the lips, then started stroking her hair. "Now i'm feeling wonderful." They laughed and smiled together and suddenly they started talking about what happened earlier that day. "So, who were those girls and the boys that were with Jordan?" Maddi asked Nick. "Well." He held her hand, and started talking. "The girls with brown hair were Jasmine and Nicole. The boys with blonde hair were Dan and Jack, and the other 2 boys with red and black hair were Austin and Shane. They've known each other for years. And guess what." he said to Maddi. "What?" "Were gonna go to the beach again with my sister, Leah, my brother, Greg, my older sister, Courtney, and your family. Your sister, Stephanie, and your brother, Ronnie. No parents! Isn't that great?!" he said to Maddi. "Yea! It's awesome." she exclaimed

 

 They continued talking, and soon it was after midnight. Nick closed the door, climbed onto Maddi's bed and put his arm around her. They kissed each other goodnight, and Maddi put her head on Nick's chest and closed eyes. Nick looked down at her, and whispered to himself, "Man, am i lucky." And soon they were off to sleep.
