Surreal Love

Surreal Love

A Poem by Silmara McGarry

Between the gracefulness of butterflies,
and the enchanting sweet colours of
a warm spring morning, delivered in the
most surreal dance, lays my Love for you.

Between the storms in the sky and the blue
lights that surround the angels in heaven,
mesmerized by the look in your eyes,
hypnotized by my Love for you.

Between each wave in the ocean, gripped by
the motion of fresh winds and one thousand
innocent pearls, in the hands of the singing
mermaid, breathing calmly, sails my Love for you.

Between the fascinating birds in the forbidden
forest, sweeping around ancient trees,
sheltering the intense heat that flows quietly
across its glittering waters, hides my Love for you.

Between the moon and earth, and stages of
glowing stars, twinkling up the dark night
with promises of light, and the great creations
of God, reflects my Love for you.

Each and every one of your stanzas has a different mood and meaning - but still has to include that precious word. Is ther anything better than Love, Silmara. You create and share unique poetic beauty

A perfectly painted picture of knowing that to love, you must first accept the love given and know it is real, only then can two hearts and minds connect to give you all you have. Only then can you truly see all the beauty that surrounds us, that somehow goes unnoticed at other times.
Superbly captured thoughts, written from a unique perspective.

My pleasure entirely.......
Your writing reflects not only the impenetrable bond you share but also a spiritual side to the descriptions you've gracefully painted through each stanza. Images help the reader see your thoughts, these to me are all visual artwork.

Welcome to WC.
