just love me

just love me

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

the hardest thing to do

"
Learn to be
my friend
not a critic
or a judge
Love me
for me
with all
my eccentricities
bumps and flaws.
do not cast
stones from
the terrarium
in which you
sit.
I have had enough
of that kind of
love
to last a lifetime
listen
to
me.

Exquisitely explicit for all of us tortoises and turtles out here. I always suspected a deliciously warm and comforting interior was hidden beneath that bony carapace of yours. A really good un we have here... N

Another flowing and explicit, well articulated free verse KLG

this is quite a good piece - the flow is excellent - this poem speaks to me about the role of acceptance
and understanding in loving relationships - thank you for sharing - i love most especially the line about not casting stones from the terrarium :)

Thank you so much, that is my favourite too - as I was picturing said person as a turtle:)
