taking flight

through nebula

beyond firmament

phoenix rises

bursting into flames 

fiery talons descend

clutching earth's skin 

smoldering embers

earth shivers

cooling ashes

vibrating dust

into antecedent

earth sighs

breathing life

regenerating

phoenix emerges
