Monday - November 4th 2013

What happened today ?

Well let's do the weekend first, shall we ?

Saw Chris Sunday. Went out to eat, went to Half Price books and he bought a book for tweens, which sorta surprised me as he's always reading long-hair stuff. Hmm, maybe he's mellowing a bit ... Anyways.

Went to Best Buy to look around. I now have four 1TB drives. My earliest is really old tho and uses a power-supply. As I'm typing this, I'm transferring over the most important stuff from it first to the newest 1TB drive. Occasionally I have to power down the old one and bring it back up but it's getting there.

Just got season 9 of Columbo. Wow ! Do I love that show and Peter Falk ! Rose knows this and has made little wall-hangings from magazines and other stuff about him. I brag and maybe it's worth repeating but he is the ONE superstar to leave this world without a scandal. Really ! Look him up sometime.

I mean think about it. No drinking, no drugs, no murder charges, no indecent exposure, wow ! The man deserves a serious pat of appreciation on the back of his rumpled raincoat for the years of intelligent entertainment he has provided to the world - and he did it without a chemical dependence as most actors seem to be inflicted today with !

Okay, I Showed Chris some of the movies I got for him. His words as we watched one of them, "That was unexpected," and - perhaps it was. It was a foreign film and MAN ! It was one totally wacked out story. Hmm ...

Watched a little good old Doctor Who with William Hartnell. Did some shopping for groceries and finally called it a day.

Today I went by to get the medications for my eye. I'm really wondering if it's cause I'm cross-eyed and not just conjunctivitis, but - got some drops in. That's not easy to deliberately put things in your eye like that (and no, I don't even consider contact lenses). And Rose called and called and CALLED !

About every little thing. She even called during me taking a break. She said it was raining and she was bored and had nothing to do - and - well - I guess it showed by the number of calls she made today. :)

Tomorrow ! I should have more energy. Will post a new entry for the Dream Diary, start the new, "Confessions" writing. And maybe take a bulldozer to the space around me as I know - I =LIVE= on my computer and sometimes it shows.

Disks, clothes, bits of paper I'd written new and experimental HTML code on, and clippings from magazines I hang on the wall, yes I'm a little odd like that. It's all there.

So - have a great evening. If you're in Fort Worth, Rose says (and she watches the weather) it will definitely RAIN all day tomorrow so bring a brolly !
