O Soul

O Soul

A Chapter by Ethan Paz
"

I was singing to my soul for one must talk to himself and not let himself talk to him.

"

O soul

What has become of you?

Why,

Have you fled from our Father?

O soul,

What has become of you

To flee from the One that we loved?

Have you

Considered the glorious ways of God?

Or have you

Just forgotten who He is?

Why won’t you,

Just return to Him

And return to the ways of old?

O soul,

What have you become?

Why

Did you forsake the cross?

O soul,

Tell me what you have done,

So we can plead for repentance to the Lord.

Have you,

Seen that sin only lies in destruction?

Why won’t you

Come back to the Lord?

And why won’t you,

Have a zeal for God?

That we both may serve the Almighty.

I think it's asking a very important question.
Great work!
