A Chapter by Jon Settle
"

This is a quick summary of my book so far.

"

Lucas loses his grandmother to double pneumonia. Lucas, already having psychic abilities, sees a memory of his mother giving him to his grandmother as an infant, when he takes her hand in his grasp for the last time. His grandmother immediately knows that he saw this and quickly advises for him to stay away from his mother. He soon finds out more than he wants to know... about everything in the world; there are greater forces at work; a war that has been raging on for millenniums is coming to an end. Lucas is the key to bringing an end to this war, but doesn't know which side he belongs.

Author's Note

Jon Settle
I'd just like to let everyone know that "In Progress....." is NOT the actual title of my book. I simply have not thought of a title yet therefore the current title is "In Progress...."

I hope that made sense... but anyways please review and let me know what you think!!

The problem with most summaries is they are written AFTER the Book and often by a paid Reviewer.

You have a "vision" of your intent. What is above doesn't overly define, identify, or depict very much of your vision for others to think about.

As a writer are you creating OR using the world? Is your work going to be epic, broad, localized, or somewhat limited to maybe even very limited - in its scale and scope? Is it to be fantasy, fiction, adventure, historical period, future, scifi, gothic, horror, romance, what? Have you developed an outline, defined and identified a cast of main characters, established an events timeline... written down your intended plot - including giving yourself clues of how to get to the end - from your chosen beginning? Many, many questions remain to be asked and if possible - answered. It isn't easy being an author - but we never asked it to be now did we?

Take care,
Chris

I agree with Chris but I'll check out the first chapter when it's up even though I rarely read books here. It sounds interesting to me.
