The Rose ... a collaboration with Lingering Soul

The Rose ... a collaboration with Lingering Soul

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

She woke delightfully from her dream
Unfurled her curves and gown without a seam

She knew times beyond her dawn
In lustrous color and wilder form

At bay side waters she sat alone
Whistling tunes of meadows many tones

Splashes of blue ...splashes of red
from shore to shore she lifts her head

Maybe a lonely night was through
A day has made a difference too

As romance stood shading her
Lovers leap and passions stir

A gleaming fragrant morning glow
Sheds petals of pure rain in wind and snow

Having pushed through tired rock and soil
Imbuing thoughts of linens' lemon coyle

Lingering Soul and E.

"Top definition ... Coyle's are placed throughout the world to spread joy and happiness and to bring wit and pleasure ... AH, she was a lovely coyle, so charming!!"

love the allegory here...just a rose, or not?
a song from a beautiful flower, heartwrenching...janis, such a beloved blues/rock singer, but in her own world...struggling with loneliness...so unsure of life and why she is in it...
this is really powerful my friend...
you and Lingering Soul sound as one here...you are both such strong individual voices, but combined...?

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is SPECIAL hauntingly beautiful! makes me filled with wistfulness and warm yearnings... and why I feel that this lonely Rose is a one "who" is so much giving with not much to receive, this makes my heart feels so sad... a lonely Rose, a lonely woman, a lonely Lover, a lonely Love... the song, oh of course I love it and just PERFECT here! Thank You both for such a tender affectionate gem!

You're welcome 😁😊
Like when the reader gets to use their imagination.
You take us on a journey which sometimes gets lost when two people write together. But this flows effortlessly through and through.
You both have a rare gift for writing together.
Plus, I now know what Coyle's are now.

Wow, you two, "Lingering Soul and E"!
A lovelier cowrite I've seldom seen; nor, felt the sweetness of upon my mind's fragrant tongue.
Sensual? Yes, but wondrously imaginative in a warm and tender way.
To me, one of the hallmarks of a well-struck collaboration between two passionate artists, is the seamlessness that secrets which words, lines, and verses are whose, and this one surely shines with lovely, indiscernible togetherness and harmony.
Hint for future writes: During my early years, I discovered the flow in Rhyming Couplets works best with an even syllable count … even so, you've joined together to create a lovely virtual masterpiece of warmth and affection in imagery and metaphor, any poet would be proud to set their name upon … love the use of the Irish "coyle", too.
And, of course, the picture choice is muaaahhh!

Thank you for sharing some real-feeling togetherness … we need more of it! ⁓ Richard : )

( As an aside, I'm not gay, but check this out … it's unique and beautiful … your music choice brought it to mind and I thought you might enjoy it, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaROl1j-xBY )

Such a lovely lilting feeling to this. Exudes roamance and never could I think that I had recognised who did what. This then has all the hallmarks of a lovely collaboration.

Some collaborations work so well it would be undiplomatic to chose a preferred phrase or stanza.. and chance hurting one of the writers! Here, there's no chance of that: you've either been together since time began or.. you understand the other's thinking and craft with amazing understanding. Tis a beautiful collaboration, smooth as silk and gently rising passion.
