I believe Ana, I believe.... in fact had a conversation just last night with my favorite short, fat fairie, Winnie (I know strange name for a fairie, but that's what she wants me to call her), and she said that I was getting kinda old for fairie belief... but then I said to her, well, maybe but I will believe until you stop coming around to pester me... lol... she laughed too and then I fell asleep... but when I woke up this morning, I saw she left me some fairie dust and well, I ask you, how can you not believe
after seeing fairie dust on your bed???
and as usual Ana, my comment is way longer than your wonderful poem... oh well, it's your fault for writing such good poetry... ;0)

Mother told me, years ago, that when she popped her clogs she would come back as my guardian Angel in the guise of a Robin. Since her death I see them quite often flitting around the garden, strange eh !!
I like the idea of assorted shaped fairies, would be good for all kids to see :))
Good morniiiiiiiiiiiiiiing Ana ( Robin Williams style greeting :) )

I laughed when I first read this, Ana. Imagining a short fat fairy, quite inconsistent with “fairy” tales. Of course, whether we’re short, skinny, fat, tall, or whatever, we can believe.

my daughter is 10 and we toss ideas at around all the time. I think diversity and inclusivity is important. Even among fairies. The fairy godmother was a lovely plump old lady with immeasurable charm. :)
and the toothless one left a note under my pillow when i was a kid...saying..."thanks, i needed this!"
a smile here for sure...

But it's fun to believe in magical things. The world is so dreary sometimes... I wish I had thought to leave a note like that.
Thank goodness there are so many teeth, I can do it on the next one!
