American Sign Language

I know he's hearing,

But he speaks as if he's deaf.

He speaks my language,

But it's alright with him if I

Can't speak his.

Around him, I don't feel alone.

It doesn't matter

If his ears work

Or not.

He's just

Him.

And I'm just

Me.
