·         Saku loves kids and animals , she can’t stand to see them sad

Other Information:

·         Ji-Hoon is new to the school

·         He sticks out due to him being the first Korean/American kid to come into the school

·         He doesn’t pay much attention to girls, not looking for a relationship

·         Ji-Hoon doesn’t like it much, but he is the most popular guy with the girls, so in response to this, he is quite cold to the girls who dare to approach him.

·         He is quiet and keeps to himself in school, only speaking to his closest friend, Amai

·         Ji-Hoon is very smart

·         He lives alone in a nice, one floor, traditional Japanese house with his dog, Honjaui(Solitary/혼자의)

·         His father is dead and he disowned his mother for trying to control his life and causing problems

·         He takes care of his aunt’s two children every once in a while… even though he is terrible with kids

·         He works at an animal clinic during the week and does live entertainment at a local hangout spot near the park on the weekends

·         Although he is cold, Ji-Hoon is not the type of guy who likes players “If you want to get a guy, why don’t you find someone who can treat you right…”

Name: Goshippu/ゴシッ- (gossip)

Hair: Straight, shoulder-length, and blonde

Eyes: Blue

Personality: Her personal saying, “You know gossip is true when you hear my voice!” She spends her time giving and receiving information about others in the school. Goshippu is a major gossiper that speaks only the truth. Despite the gossiping trait, she is fun to hang around. She is the one in the threesome who starts and ends the fun in a day. Goshippu comes from a rich family, fortunately for her, because due to the fact that she pays more attention to gossip than real school work, she is in the lowest class. She is quite popular due to her reliability when it comes to specific information. Saku Hana is a great friend to Goshippu, always by her side and bailing her out of trouble when the time comes.

Name: Irei/ 異例 (exceptional)

Hair: Long, red hair that is always pulled back into a ponytail with bangs right above her eyes

Eyes: Emerald/ Glasses

Personality: She is quite friendly and can break the ice with anyone she meets, albeit Kim Ji-Hoon is another story… She is a very good student who does her work without a problem, although she is not as smart as Saku Hana, who happened to be the one she went to when she needed help with studying. Irei takes piano lessons from Saku Hana, who is sort of like a teacher/friend to her. Irei comes from a rich family as well, but sometimes, that can cause problems, which is when Saku Hana comes in to help. She really looks up to Saku Hana. Saku Hana has helped out Irei a lot, being a good reliable friend that can be idolized.

Ji-Hoon’s Companions: Also known as Baddobōizu バッドボーイズ

Name: Sugureta/優れた (Superior)

Hair: Short, dark brown

Eyes: Light brown

Personality: “Who can be any greater than me?” He is one of Ji-Hoon’s arrogant friends. Sugureta comes in fourth place to Ji-Hoon when it comes to brains and looks. He constantly compares himself to lower people to ruin their self-esteem and make himself feel better. ‘I’m rich, smart, and good-looking… you can’t even dream of being anywhere close to all three!!’ Sugureta isn’t much of a fan of Ji-Hoon (he is already smarter… and his looks…) but Sugureta has no choice but to become friends with Ji-Hoon, the price to pay to have a good band… Obviously, Ji-Hoon and Sugureta are not close…

Name: Omoiagatta/思い上がった (Conceited)

Hair: Short, messy and blonde

Eyes: Green

Personality: Omoi is his nickname. He is Ji-Hoon’s conceited friend… Omoi pays great attention to his appearance… He always has to look great, handsome, well-built. His looks come in third to Ji-Hoon… and… That could be a problem for Omoi… “Don’t worry girls; there is enough of me to go around…” Omoi is the player of the group, picking up any girl he can get. But with Ji-Hoon as the new guitarist and lead singer of the band… his popularity is going down… Ji-Hoon doesn’t respect Omoi’s behavior with women at all… Obviously they are not close, Ji-Hoon and Omoiagatta…

Class: 3-A

 

Name: Amai/"い  (Sweet)

Hair: Long and layered look… Black

Eyes: Grey/ Sometimes wears glasses

Personality: He, Amai, is the only friend that is very close to Ji-Hoon. Compared to Ji-Hoon, he has the most in common, the looks (he has the innocent, baby face appearance) and the brains. He basically comes in second. Amai is a very caring young boy. He is innocent and the most… well, compassionate. He looks up to Ji-Hoon a lot and understands him well… often, Amai influences Ji-Hoon the most, he is the one who ends up trying to smooth things over with Saku Hana and her friend. Amai is Ji-Hoon’s closest friend, one that he wouldn’t give up.

The most popular Baddobōizu バッドボーイズ  

(Actually pronounced like Bad-o-Boys) - This is the name of the band that Kim Ji-Hoon signed up for. He totally despises the name but he needs the money… so he abides the name for now. The band members listed below:

Kim Ji-Hoon: Lead Vocalist and Guitar

Amai: Drummer

Omoiagatta: Guitar

Sugureta: Bass

Omoiagatta and Sugureta created the band, the name, approved of the members. Amai joined in for the same reason as Ji-Hoon, to raise money. He also doesn’t like the name, but they needed a drummer, and it is quite fun. Amai is the reason that Ji-Hoon is in the band too. Ji-Hoon accepted Amai’s request to try out for the fun of it and for the money.

 

 

Ji-Hoon’s Family:

Name: Han Ji-Eun/한지은

Hair: Short, messy and brown

Eyes: Light brown

Relationship: Mother

Personality: Ji-Eun is a major trouble maker. After the death of her husband, Ji-Eun tried to control Ji-Hoon’s life. She pays a lot of attention to class and money. The reason she was disowned by Ji-Hoon was for this very trait. Ji-Eun arranged a marriage for Ji-Hoon to the daughter of a rich company owner that her husband worked with without him even knowing about it. Enraged, Ji-Hoon left her alone to live on his own; going to the extremes of leaving Korea and going to Japan. Worried about her son, Ji-Eun asked her sister, who luckily lived in Japan, to watch over him. Her sister was hesitant in helping out the sister who also gave her so much trouble, but because it was to look after her only nephew… Ji-Eun’s sister put aside her anger and annoyance to keep her nephew safe.

 

Name: Yoo Ji-Min/유지민

Hair: Medium length in the style of a bob, a mixture of reds and browns make up the color

Eyes: Hazel

Relationship: Aunt

Personality: Ji-Min lost her husband when her second child was born. Depressed, she decided to move out of Korea and into Japan to start a new life. She kept to herself and never came into contact with her sister in Korea. When Ji-Min finally talked to her sister, it was because Ji-Hoon, her only nephew, found her house. He explained the situation and asked her not to call… but Ji-Min confronted her sister. Towards the end of the conversation, her sister asked her to watch out for Ji-Hoon. Ji-Min was about to refuse, but then she decided that Ji-Hoon had nothing to do with her sister’s selfish, arrogant, and stubborn demeanor… Ji-Min later helped Ji-Hoon find a house and helped him with a job… From then on, Ji-Min kept an eye out for her nephew. She taught him how to speak Japanese.

 

Name: Hong Hyun-Woo/홍현우

Hair: Blonde and messy

Eyes: Hazel

Relationship: Male Cousin

Personality: At the age of 7. He is very troublesome and loves to cause Ji-Hoon problems whenever his older cousin has to watch him. He watches out for his younger sister, and listens to his mother well… He was 4 when his father died. Knows how to speak and understand Japanese, but he prefers Korean… only using Japanese when in school.

 

Name: Kim Seo-Hyun/김서현

Hair: Shoulder-length with bangs, shades of red and brown make up the color

Eyes: Green

Relationship: Female Cousin

Personality: At the age of 4. Seo-Hyun clings stubbornly to her older cousin, Ji-Hoon, and always has to be by her brother’s side if Ji-Hoon is not around. She isn’t very troublesome, but can definitely pull temper tantrums if she is unhappy, something Ji-Hoon deals with often…

Name: Yoon Ju-Rin/윤주린

Hair: Long, curly and red

Eyes: Blue

Connection to the Main Characters: She is the girl that Ji-Hoon’s mother chose for him who still wants to marry Kim Ji-Hoon.

 

Name: Tsumetai/ 冷たい (Cold)

Hair: Short brown

Eyes: Light brown

Connection to the Main Characters: He is Saku Hana's very old family friend. When tey were young they were very close. Due to family business he had to move and they lost contact. He comes back to see her... but something about him has changed...

 

Name: Tsuyoi/強い (Strong)

Hair: Short, dirty blonde

Eyes: Hazel

Connection to the Main Characters: He is Saku’s tennis partner who has a crush on Saku Hana and always tries to get her to like him.

 

Name: Hiai/™" (Sorrow)

Hair: Long brown

Eyes: Light brown

Connection to the Main Characters: She is Saku’s friend, not close, but still friend. Hiai is the girl who got turned down by Kim Ji-Hoon very cruelly, which is how Saku ended up speaking to Kim Ji-Hoon in the first place.

Belive me, I know how tedious planning is. When I first started writing fiction, I would skip over the planning entirely, but then my story wouldn't be as good. Now, though, I think everything out very carefully.

This piece was very informative and already gives us details/backstories about the characters which is nice...Saku seems to be a very very busy person and multi-talented and it seems that some of Ji-Hoon's friends aren't really Ji-Hoon's friends lol, just Amai is

But now that i know the characters this should make for an interesting read
