HE LIED

HE LIED

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

plagiarism and murder isn't much different in the minds of writers ...

"
On a lofty pedestal he sits.
he criticizes, analyzes;
pontificates
on love and war.

If vows can be made
at an altar, while lies
dance behind the eyes,
a total stranger can do the same ...

altered identities,
questionable entities,
veiled hostilities --
multiple personalities --
plagiarism caught and denied,
how many people will it take
to realize
HE LIED.

Plagiarism to me is theft...pure and simple. And I will hunt down and destroy the sorry piece of s**t who ever steals my work. Seriously....as Frieda will tell you I should work for the FBI...I have my ways of finding things and people. Believe me the idiot would be tarred and feathered for the entire internet to see. No one who claims to be a writer would ever steal another persons words!!!

I also should point out that when this has been an issue before ive seen fairly popular writers comment saying they don't really care if someone else shares or takes from their work. Well to me its that complacency that contributes to the problem. We all have to be vigilant otherwise its not taken seriously. If you don't care about your work why even put your name on it? Just sign as anonymous or unknown and share it for everyone to use. There was a time when plagiarizing or cheating was considered to be a shameful act and maybe its societies increasing complacency that gives so many the idea that its no big deal!

The speed with which you can compose these pointed, at the same time well executed poems never ceases to amaze me.
Well done, we shall see what ensues.

I am flattered, thank you. Just call me speedy, at everything except kicking out the trash ...
I was just saying about how if you wink you miss it when it comes to your work . As soon as I hit enter you had something different going. Oh brother this seems like an internal Cafe thing. As per usual I have to declare complete and utter ignorance becuase I have no idea about the context of this writing.
Someone accused of plagarism I think if decided to go down the legal route and proven there could be consequences. The lying bit. I won't comment as probably I will end up burning too although for different reasons but in they eye of sin is all the same in the end. Human virtue.

King for a day fool for a lifetime.

Intriguing writing

Thankyou

If you steal from one author, it's plaigiarism; if you steal from many, it's research.
