Why?

You ask me to do a favor,
I do it.
Why do I give in every time,
Why do I let you run my life?
Why do I do what you ask?
Am I stupid,
Am I incompetent?
When you ask me to do something,
Do I ever think before I agree?
I did try to say no,
But my conscious got the best of me,
Telling me it is just a simple favor.
Why do you try to run my life?
Why?
