Unwanted

My feelings at the current moment

I know I’m not the loved one

I screw up now and then

But that’s no reason to hate me

But I doubt that’ll ever change

I know that I make comments

That you don’t appreciate

But every now and then

I like to be acknowledged

You tell me that you love me

But why does that seem untrue

All you ever seem to do

Is ignore me, that’s the truth

I get that I’m unwanted

But I don’t blame you

No one would ever want me

A failure.
