Are you the one I’ve dreamed in sleep 

Where doth the bed I lay and darkness greet?  

Who I wished would make me complete?                             

Indeed, I think- I . . . am living a dream!                   

                               

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You are the star above that I have loved.                                    

You are the angel that I have wished was by my side.             

You are a beautiful Crystal whose glory shall not be hid.                

Never will I ever leave you.                

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

       

Like a shimmering star, you are my hope.    

Darkness! Leave thy lesser shadows and depart! 

Let me gaze upon the beauty of my partner’s heart                          

Love for me- and my love for her!                               

                   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the days pass by and night’s envious shadows fall away, 

I yet see thy glory shining still closer to me.    

As the two lights run their course and distracted-free,   

I see you and me as one and possibly forever be.
