Sexting and Cyber bullies

Sexting and Cyber bullies

A Poem by Mica L. Bennett

Pictures of her
sent to a boy.
she believed it was love
but it lead to no joy.

He shared with his friends
The photos at school.
Soon they were viral.
She felt like a fool.

She checks her facebook
just to find smut.
What used to be friends
now call her a s**t.

She goes to her room
and cries herself dry.
She has this feeling
of wanting to die.

She drowns herself
with a bottle of pills.
she is sad, she is hurt.
In her lungs water fills.

Sexting is wrong.
cyberbullying too.
Watch what you post.
Watch what you do.

this is something that way too many young teenagers are facing!

this poem should be shared on every website in every teen magazine!!

but it isn't always the guy whos the dick and sending them around..my ex best friend...yes the same one who i wrote my poems about... :/ she was and is the biggest guy in the fact that she does this to guys!! she gets them to send her photos of whats in their pants then shows everyone and they all start mocking the guys on size! i think she deserves a smack on the face so should every guy or girl who has ever done such a thing!!!!!!!! what gives them the right to expose someone elses privacy??

I believe this should be shared. Sex-ting and Cyerbullying is wrong. Any kind of bullying or something like that is not good. It doesn't help anyone and it really doesn't improve anything. That kind of stuff benefits no one. Why can't we get along? What is this world coming to? You are right the more you watch out for yourself the better you will be for it. By the way great poem. Really good message at the end. You have a great talent for writing so keep it up :)

Great poem. Very true. I'll never understand what people get out of bullying.

This is incredibly sad, not so much in the emotion I get from it, but in the fact that it rings so true. So many people, regardless of age and gender, fall prey to this kind of tragedy every day. I don't really agree with suicide, but sometimes it seems like the only option, when the world has turned against you, for something that was never how it seems, for being naive, for being innocent, for being young and stupid. You've done a wonderful job at capturing this in a way that is easy to understand and empathize with. I love it, and hope that anyone going through this gets a chance to see this and know they are not alone. And hopefully someone will stick by them and let them know, it will get better.
