Alexis, look for Essences

"

Alexis bade farewell to the rest of the group and entered the forest in search of a fallen tree and some Essences. She managed to avoid her thoughts fairly well, but at the same time, she avoided taking notice of her surroundings. She only remembered the world when she ran into another radiant being. Its body shone black and it radiated an unattractive olive green

“Oh, sorry! Who… what are you…?”

I am… call me an Ascendant. Yes, with a capital ‘a.’ I know, it’s all weird. But don’t worry. I don’t have much to accomplish here and now. I am merely here to tell you that you should open up to the others. That thing you’re hiding? Everything will get better for you when you do, trust me.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Alex said with a flinch.

Yeah, I knew you’d say that. It’s all right. Just go back to the clearing now. You won’t find what you’re looking for. There’ll be a few others already there.

And so there were. Soon enough, the whole gang was back together, some excited about and others dreading sharing what they found in the forest. Shortly after they all met, darkness slithered across the sky heralded by a sense of cosmic displeasure. After little deliberation, the party agreed to move their mixed feelings to Frank’s hut. Yeah, this chapter is remarkably short, but this is day six, and it is very clearly no longer day. So, without further ado:

End Day Six (Alexis)

End Day Six
