MASTER OF WRITING CONTEST!

MASTER OF WRITING CONTEST!

A Lesson by Camille Corbett
"

Pulling the sword out of the rock, so to speak.

"

Hello mates! A winner has been chosen for the Master of Writing competition. The winner of this contest will be writing a lesson for this class, the next lesson in fact. So I hope you guys had a wonderful holiday because we have a new year full of more writing techniques to cover!

1st place-
This is the person who will be your instructor for one lesson. Their poem "Watchman of the Bell", won. It wasn't necessarily the BEST writing. However, he was able to mold language in a way that touched the reader, which is what I was looking for in this contest, not good writing, but writing that touched the reader. Because as many of you know, the best writer usually isn't the winner in the publishing world, it's the person who can touch the reader better. Which is the ONLY reason Twilight is selling like hot cakes and better writers have to eat ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner just so they can pay their light bill. So please take this contest as a lesson if you didn't make the top ten, please try and make your writing touch the reader more. It's imperative to your success. :D
