Exhale

Exhale

A Poem by Einstein Noodle
"

an old poem ..Exhale is used many times over the years for many titles of all kinds of things .. i think it retains its allure and power, however ... just my opinion

Exhale

My craving wailed;

(banshee on the wind)

     gripping
             petals,

     misting
             reason.

Whispers trace kisses,
                         fragmenting my thoughts.

Untamed--
          love lured me

     crimson,
          and purple.

                                        exhale.....................
                                                              ........................
                                                                              ................................................................................

And then..Wait for it....aaah, "exhale..................
Just so breathtaking (literally!) and sensual E. My heart added extra beats while reading. This is love as it should always be - teetering, suspended in the passion and heat of the moment before...just like your supremely expessive lines and perfect pauses...
Loved this hugely and thank you for pointing me to Seriana's poem as well my friend!

I love this . . . simple & flowing just like breath. I have to confess, when I was reading this, I had a hard time picturing YOU as writing it . . . often your writing seems so far from the person I get to know as a person (you!) . . . it's like this poet must be on a different planet, in all the best ways! Nice to read your background ideas about posting this & how it all connected for you. Here's hoping life is buoyant for you & yours. I do agree that some words can be used often by poets & still retain their spunk, while others wilt & grow cliche (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

take the leap Barley Girl ... our sunshine lasts longer that way :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I caught your breath, felt your heart thumping and then exhale....... Untamed love certainly exercises the heart Mr E, as well as all the other parts. Crimson and purple, hot love colours, no pastel shades here. I caught your craving as well as your breath. Very sensual,. Banshee on the wind is genius. Liked your posted image too. Those fingers, reaching out to grasp under the light of the silvery moon :) Layout adds to the excitement. Good morning to you from across the wind swept waters.

:).................
this is being tackled by the love bug...the kisses fragmenting the thoughts...

been there, done that....couldn't get enough...was like Friar Lawrence had the right idea...

"love moderately, long love doth so"---I never could adhere to that when I was younger and more vulnerable. This brought me back....love the layout of it as well.

(I've said this before but I want to emphasize it again) It's ALWAYS a pleasure reading you, Mr. Noodle!!! I really like how differently you format your poems....it's not just a straight line down, it's spacing and tabbing and "enter"ing which makes it all the more an interesting read! Such a short read...but so thought-provoking...Thank you for sharing your outstanding poetry!!! :)

Filled with desire and anticipation, your poem conjures images of two people drawn to one another. At least that is my interpretation. The ending makes it seem as though they finally did get together. Nice to re-post an oldie. Lydi**

Good morning! And what a lovely treat! Oh my, they are SOOOOO different. But this is akin to a sigh, and exasperated wait almost. I can feel the tension. It is though he (or she) is being lured, drawn to some unseen force and they can't quite reach it, sighing (exhaling) in exasperation.
"Untamed--
love lured me"
That line caught me. Had to read it several times. Could be taken several ways, but in the end I decided the writer was untamed, and therefore, love lured him in, giving in at last (exhale). Ha! I supposed it's fun for each author to read all the interpretations! Thank you for sharing this! It is, indeed, so very interesting to see the differences!
