The Japanese garden

The Japanese garden

A Chapter by Storyteller of Dimensions

Originally written about the Japanese garden at RIT, this poem also nicely fits into the Oram war, when a soldier finds a moment of peace in a Japanese garden while battle rages outside...

Passing through the gate

over the green fields

I come to thee

the sound of the battlefield becomes distant

the only voice is thy waterfall

here in the shadows of your trees

can I defy the clock machine

in the middle of the battleground

surrounded by brick walls

in this oasis of quiet

I can watch the brick citadel

surrounded in green

As you read my writing you probably notice soon that I'm not a native English speaker (I'm Czech), but I'm doing my best and I appreciate you feedback on the story side of my works while I'll work on .. more..
