Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Metamorphosis

peaceful

in her garden,

she grows comfort

i pick greens

of her kindness

her demeanor blossoms

in fall,

in winter

she stands tall

emitting a certain warmth

that ripens

with an early October breeze

i love the fruits

of her intensity

no storm can eradicate

she is beauty

she is a dozen roses

in one

opening to the song of the wind

i am a cloud

moved to a standstill

as i rain within her

smile

and become a clear sky.

Simply beautiful, marvelously tasteful, lovingly grateful.
Speedy recovery sir.

It felt so soothing... And the metaphors are so beautifully painful, kinda.

dear Jacob... two years later and you are having your
broken heart mended. The Roses buried in the Winter snow...
surely know that Spring will find you in the arms of the Weeping Willow
as Birds have gathered with the Camellia to pray for your Recovery.
The Pine Warbler with soft yellow feathers laments the days waiting for your poetry.
Be Still and listen to the Wind. tenderly, Pat

thank you, Diana,

A gentle velvety romantic write...and of course the metaphor is splendid. "I am a cloud moved to a standstill.".....heavy sigh! I really enjoy your romantic writes, Jacob. You don't write a lot of them. Lydi**

Something to learn from you when describing nature's beauty... It's so flowy and smooth.... I pick greens of her kindness.... Amazing

Again, your writing really brings the reader into a whole other world. I love the mentions of different seasons. Whenever poems happen to bring different times up, it feels so much more personal like I'm actually experiencing the story. Especially when it's so specific, like 'early October breeze.' It paints a mental picture that's so nice you reread the poem. Even the title of the poem adds another layer to it.
