Maybe this is the way it's meant to be

The end of you and me.

Maybe the pain is permanent

Never ending.

Is this right?

Is this wrong?

One will never truly know

Until it happens.

But I do know

This heartbreak

This judgement

This bitterness

Is more than I can take.

And this is the last time

I'm allowing myself to go through this.

I manage to have that much respect for myself.
