Better Without You

Better Without You

A Chapter by Kaity Fisher

I remember

How long my nights were

When they revolved around you.

And while you think I'm weak,

I'll become content with my past I regret.

The regret and pain

That you caused.

I'll be the first to admit

That I'm glad

This is it.

Counting all the scars you've made,

Putting the pieces of my heart

Back together again,

Burning all those memories from my mind.

You never really loved me, baby.

And while you sigh in jealousy

Cause you lost me,

I will continue to wonder one thing.

Why did I ignore all those signs?

Like to run away when they all said to

Run as fast as I could?

Whatever, the past is the past.

Can't take back what you did.

Besides, I'm better without you.
