Infectious Love

Infectious Love

A Chapter by Kaity Fisher

With a name to reflect

How different you are from

Any other lowly serf,

I wagered you would wish to live

Among your fellow gods.

But, little did I know,

That you would rather

Take a mere mortal's hand,

My hand,

And piece me back together again.

With you, I ascend to the

Divine blazes above.

Cloudy visions dissolve,

Dark demons vanish,

And what I'm left with

Is genuine fondness

And deep admiration.

Ardor seizes our lives,

Obliterating the dark and

Haunted olden.

Sparks fly in your eyes,

And glisten brighter than the stars

In infinity.

Making eternity perpetuate,

And persevering the existent,

Forever is feasible

As long as my heart

Maintains infected

With your love,

My kryptonite.
