I do wonder

I do wonder

A Poem by Franky
"

Sometimes love comes amid many complications.

"

I do wonder......

About all these feelings I have for you I wish you'd tell me what to do I do wonder...... I don't want this to end badly Since I'm in love with you so madly I do wonder...... What it would be like to enjoy your smile all the more Since I crave seeing you walk through any door I do wonder...... About how I want to stay true But I don't know what else to do I do wonder...... Why I can't stop thinking of you Even though I really should want to I do wonder....... About me telling you what's in my heart And how your reaction could tear me apart

Hum...I came upon this from an old review you id for me. I do wonder, now, it's been 4 years since you posted this. Has your wonder claimed an answer? I do wonder....

The red font is perfect. A dichotomy of love potential or bleeding nothing. Love it!

The repetition of 'I do wonder' syncs perfectly with the delicacy of a heart.
Sometimes this 'I do wonder' gains too much weight to bear. Nice poem, Franky

Ah, the hesitant unsurety of love. A rich well to draw from artistically, and this is a powerfully vulnerable piece. It reads like a whispered confession in the dark. Nicely done!

Awe!: thanks straight from my heart. What a wonderful review. I appreciate you!
Rejection is powerful but grows us. We are all rejected in some way and forced to either push through or pivot. 🧘🏻‍♀️⬆️ ✨️ Always Go for it! That's what I say. Very Relatable piece 👌 👏

Ok. I'd read it. 😀
The charm's taken me over
For I could not think nor lure

Well put! The turmoil and confusion, charm and fantasy, love and fear all so evident in this yet to blossom love story..

You're even poetic in your reviews! How nice. Thank you my new friend.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You can only play your cards so close to your chest for so long before you have to declare your hand. Love is a crap shoot at best, but the payoff, if it comes, is sweet and rich. That moment of vulnerability, when we are perched on the precipice of love and acceptance or the despair and agony of rejection. We have all been there, and can all understand the feelings here.

Thank you! This one didn't work out though. But it's a good thing it didn't as it turned out.
Love, such a little word but what are we without it?
Your poem is relatable to every reader. Bringing us to that very moment where we must declare our heart or suffer in silence.

Thank you Cherry! Sorry im slow.
I read your poem and was moved by the raw emotion and vulnerability that you expressed. Your words capture the intensity of falling in love with someone and the confusion and uncertainty that can come with those feelings. I appreciated the way you used repetition to emphasize your wonderings and to create a sense of urgency in your words.
Your poem also touched on some important themes, such as the fear of rejection and the difficulty of being true to oneself in the face of uncertainty and risk. I felt a sense of empathy for the speaker in your poem, and I appreciated the way you explored these complex emotions with honesty and sensitivity.
Overall, I thought your poem was beautifully written and deeply felt. Your words capture the essence of what it means to be human and to experience the ups and downs of love and relationships. Thank you for sharing your work with the world, and I look forward to reading more of your poetry in the future.
