I do wonder

I do wonder

A Poem by Franky
"

Sometimes love comes amid many complications.

"

I do wonder......

About all these feelings I have for you I wish you'd tell me what to do I do wonder...... I don't want this to end badly Since I'm in love with you so madly I do wonder...... What it would be like to enjoy your smile all the more Since I crave seeing you walk through any door I do wonder...... About how I want to stay true But I don't know what else to do I do wonder...... Why I can't stop thinking of you Even though I really should want to I do wonder....... About me telling you what's in my heart And how your reaction could tear me apart

Hum...I came upon this from an old review you id for me. I do wonder, now, it's been 4 years since you posted this. Has your wonder claimed an answer? I do wonder....

The red font is perfect. A dichotomy of love potential or bleeding nothing. Love it!

I think we've all been there. But if we don't let that person know how we feel, we can never have them by our side. Better to risk rejection than keep silent and suffer the fate of unrequited love.

Heartache growing until the release. There's always a space for letting go. Nice job.

It was really good!
Perfectly captures the anxiety, infatuation, and fear of rejection of a crush

This was such a lovely read and so full of feeling! Sometimes the wondering is more uncomfortable than the final answer.

Thank you Cori. I wrote this while very much in love with a co worker. It didn't end well.

Thank you for your kind encouragement. That means a lot.
This is a great poem! Whenever you have a crush, or in love, all these "what-if's" run through our heads sometimes making it hard to think straight. With this line, "About me telling you what's in my heart, And how your reaction could tear me apart" is very powerful!
