Because I love you.

I say I am okay.

I keep my real emotions

hidden away.

I smile and laugh with

my friends, even though

its all a lie. 

Inside, I am dying slowly.

Inside, I am ripping myself

apart every day.

On the inside, I am crying. 

I mentally abuse myself

to keep you safe.

I don't want to.

You don't want me to. 

But I do it because I

love you.

This speaks volumes. It is all fine, so it may seem to hide yourself away because you think that it will make somebody love you more, but that is not always the case. Great poem sweete.
