Chapter 5: A night in the forest.

Lydia and Anastasia head into the forest, and they wind up getting lost.

We have been walking along in the forest for ages now, its getting a little bit spooky and a little to dark. 

I turn to Anna and her eyes are lit up I can tell shes enjoying this spooky experience, so am I but we really should be getting back now, its probably really late. I turn to Anna once again. 

"Anna its getting really late and I hope we are not lost. I think we should be heading back don't you?" I suggest with worry.

Anna smiles at me. "I laugh in the face of danger mwa hahaha." She replies with a laugh. " Oh come on Lydia we will turn back soon promise, lets walk on a little further, Aren't you enjoying the trill? Anna questions.

I smile at her and give a laugh. "Oh ok but if we get lost you know it's going to be your fault." I exclaim with a giggle as I playfully shove her.

"Oh yer sure my fault right, blame it all on me you b***h." Anna laughs pushing me back.

We walk on for another good fifteen minutes and I think we both realize we have walked a little to far. We have been walking for a good hour and I think we are lost. 

Anna stops and so do I as we look at each other with worry on our faces. 

"I told you we should have walked back you should listen to me." Anna says smiling at me. 

"Funny I remember it was me that told you we should have turned back a good fifteen minutes ago. "I reply shaking my head at her.

"Hmmmm I don't quite remember it that way but anyway I think we might be lost." She replies with a smile.

"You don't say." I reply sarcastically. "How do you suggest we find our way back now." I ask.

"We will be fine, I mean how hard could it be, its just a little forest." Anna replies unconvincingly. 

We turn around and start walking and to be quite honest I have no idea when I will get home because I am now realizing I have no idea what so ever which way we came from. 

We are so lost I know we are. 

So after we have been walking back the other way for at least a good half an hour i'm in full on panic mode. 

Anna glares at me as she says "Calm down Lydia gosh we are almost home no worries, I got this, I know where i'm going. Am I ever wrong?" 

"No I will not calm down." I say raising my voice a little. "We are almost home who are you kidding Anna?" I exclaim. "You know as well as I do that's far from true." I then laugh as I finish. "Last but not least you know as well as I do that you are hopeless when it comes to directions, and if I rely on you to get us home, we may very well never get home. So yes I have the right to panic."

"Oh right" Anna replies. "because panicking is so the better thing to do. that's so going to help us right now. "She says sarcastically. 

"I know its not going to help." I exclaim. "I'm sorry I shouldn't panic, but its hard not to."

Anna's face softens as we both calm down, she goes to say something but stops when we here a noise. 

"What the hell is that noise?" She ask's me instead.

"I wish I knew." I say with a gulp. "I'ts getting louder."

We both freeze in fear as we listen to the pounding on the ground. We clutch each other tight, as we do nothing but stand there and wait for whatever it is, to come and eat us, kidnap us, murder us or whatever. 

All we can do is hope for the best as we stand there and wait. As a cloud of fear and panic sets over us and the forest.
