Darko

Darko

A Chapter by Kenneth The Poet

The six foot rabbit

says the world will end in less

than thirty short days,

the tangent universe falls

upon the current time stream.

The bullshit artist

captivates the crowd with the

buzzwords love and fear,

and the problematic child

firebombs the high horseshit heap.

The water portal,

a spear from the heart chakra

following set paths,

awaiting the artifact

to be put back into place.

The almost man sees

Frank with the bleeding, broken

eye socket, all hell

breaking loose as Dukakis

the liberal drives the tank.

Father and son bond

over truth against bullshit,

and the good teacher

is thrown under the school bus,

a ship in water gone down.

The rabbit sees blood

yet the god machine saves them

and the chosen one

knows that no god will save him,

since he must open that door.

The darkest one must

unlock the cellar door so

the events unfold

along the path created

by the rabbit demigod.

As the party dies off

and the virginity goes

off by the wayside,

the letter in the mailbox

is the bomb in the clockwork.

As the killing moon

plays on, the scene comes around

all full circle like,

and the red eye in the sky

loses the critical piece.

Girlfriend coughing hard,

run down by a Thunderbird,

and the forty-five

caliber round busts Frank’s eye

into a bloody death mess.

Down it comes, it falls,

onto the roof of the house,

the sacrifice for

the greater good, the whole of

humankind living onward.

Laughing sickly, he

dies alone but able to

sleep so peacefully,

yet the other agents are

left to never know the truth.
