When you are looking at me?

Do you see a smile shining bright?

Or do you see a smile full of silent spite?

Do my eyes twinkle happily like stars?

Or do they show deadly wars?

Is my face full of life?

Or does it hold muted strife?

Am I open to everyone around?

Or am I closed, sealed, and bound?

Are my eyes clear?

Or do they shine with all of my unshed tears?

Is my life soaring high in the sky?

Or is it all just a lie?

Am I loved?

Or am I love deprived?

Am I alive?

Or am I striving to survive?

Am I found?

Or am I lost and wandering aimlessly around?

Is my body fading away?

Or is it just my mind in disarray?
