Drowning

About being surrounded by people who are smothering them with crap, yet what they really need is for someone to be there but no one is.

My vision is so hazy,

And I’m totally surrounded,

It’s so suffocating.

No matter how many times I try to scream,

But no sound leaves my lips.

Swallowed up whole,

Deep under the water.

I’m suffocating,

So give me some room to breathe.

Please oh please,

Just leave me be.

I’m sick of all your lies,

And I’m sick of being ignored.

I hate it,

When I’m deep within this crowd.

Leave me so that I can breathe,

Or at least listen to me when I call.

Please don’t let me drown,

I need you to save me,

But I know it will never happen.

So there’s no need for me to say anything,

Since I know it will fall upon deaf ears.

Nothing is there to keep me from drowning.

Please....

Help me to breathe.
