Liar

Hiding away from the world

Day by day,

Voice fake,

Personality false.

Doing what I hate.

Day after day,

Sometimes attention seeking,

So that I can be soaring high.

Lies easily spill from my lips,

It really pisses me off.

Day by day,

It gets harder to see my true self

 When my facade hardly slips.

Only once in a while,

Do I ever become vulnerable.

I always try my best to hide it.

Day after day,

Emotions get buried deeper.

My true opinions and thoughts

Are my secrets trapped within.

Nobody has been able to see through me.

Day by day,

I yearn for somebody to stop me

And tell me they know

That I am lying

And that I don’t have to anymore.

So that I can finally be free

and not have to hide.
