Chapter 11

Airashii looked back when she heard the explosion, "Good luck my shemai.." In the Explorer, Airashii started to direct Ms.Shizuka in the direction of the police station while Hirano continued to shoot zombies down. In the back of her mind, Airashii couldn't help but worry about Sakura. She felt a pat on her shoulder and looked back to see Alice smiling, "Don't worry, I'm sure your sister will be fine..."
"Thanks for the confidence..." Airashii smiled back.
"So, your sister wants us to meet at a police station? How big is it?" Takagi asked from behind.
"Its not that big, only one floor. We can stay there for a while." Airashii answered.
"You do know how to get there right?" Hirano called form the sunroof.
"Uh, if we get lost.... then... look, I'm sure I know the way..." Airashii mumbled.
"Don't get us lost...." Ms.Shizuka begged.
"Keep going straight...." Airashii growled.

A fork in the road..... Airashii didn't know which road to take, she only knew that one way was a dead end, "Um.... how about we try the left road?"
Airashii prayed in her heart that she had chosen the right way. YESSSSS!!!!! she screamed in her head, "Good, from her on its a straight drive." Airashii sighed.
A straight drive.... Not so simple.... Airashii thought. She knew that they had some trouble to deal with, its never just a "straight drive" to anything.
Finally at the police station, Airashii pulled out her machine gun, preparing for a fight. She carefully opened the door and instantly got ambushed. Airashii pulled her machete out and swung, slicing the zombie. She jumped out and started to shoot, Hirano doing the same from the sunroof. Takagi protected Alice and Ms.Shizuka. The ambush was held back for a while, "Into the station!!!" Airashii called and she bolted for the door. Airashii opened the door and swung at the closest zombie. She began to exterminate all of the zombies inside while everyone else made their way in. She heard the door close right when she hit the last zombie in the room, "Glad its only one floor to protect and only four rooms all together...." Airashii groaned.
"How long do you think we have to wait?" Hirano asked.
"..... Sakura won't take too long so we won't have to wait long... Just sit tight....." Airashii answered, the, "ON the other hand...... I'm going to go and scan the other rooms.... Stay here.." Airashii ran out with the machete gripped tightly in her hand. Apparently, all of the zombies in the building had gone to the front room, so, Airashii walked back to the front very slowly. "Sakura.... please be careful... I can't lose you now........"

Back in the front room, everyone was sitting down.... tense, waiting for one moan. Airashii walked in and sighed, "Station is clear, so, we just have to check the rooms every so often for danger......" She yawned, "So, you guys tired? I'll take first shift..."
"Take a rest Airashii, I'll stay up....." Takagi sighed.
Airashii gave her a smile and laid down on the cold ground, just like the others did. She soon fell asleep. About 45 minutes later, she felt a nudge, "Is it my turn to guard?" She asked groggily.
"Yeah..." Ms.Shizuka yawned.
Airashii shook her head and turned her body towards the door. She heard movement behind her and she turned her head to see Hirano sitting up, "I'm just gonna guard the entrance to the other rooms...."
"Can't sleep?"
He nodded.
Airashii turned her head towards the door again, only to feel a tap on her shoulder 10 minutes later, "Airashii... can I stay with you?" Alice softly asked.
"What's wrong honey?" Airashii asked, looking at Alice's wet face, "Did you have a nightmare?"
Alice nodded.
"Come here, " Airashii motioned for Alice to sit on her lap, "You can stay with me..." Alice sat down and leaned into Airashii. She fell asleep and Airashii couldn't help but think about Kaname.... Her younger brother didn't even have a chance to live... And... She had to end his life.... Airashii began to weep softly, "Kaname is gone... and now I don't even know if Sakura is alive....." She whispered to herself.
