Your dream come true

Your dream come true

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

when he wishes upon a star

"
You dreamed it
You felt it
You tasted it
You smelled it
You saw it
You imagined it
over and over
again
You believed
your own warped
fantasies
for years
when they weren't true.

Now they are.
Deal with it --
Your wish came true.

We all dream things, and we would like them to come true. But i suppose there's another dreamer. He will make his dream come true. Prisons are full of them.

I think when we wish or dream for things it's kind of like thinking the grass is greener on the other side. And sometimes it's more about acquiring something vs actually really wanting it.

Yeah. That's true too.
Be careful what you wish for! I see this happening to so many people. What you can view as great and everything you could hope for, once you have it, can be the worst thing ever imagined and destroy you. Fantastic job with this write, KL! xo :)

Thank you.

That stung a bit--makes me very cautious in wishing for anything again--or at least shall I say, that the realist in me will be quite conscious of what the hopeless romantic idealist in me is wishing for when she looks up at the sky with great big wondering eyes. This piece is simply exquisite!

Thanks. And it really is about what psychopaths imagine, and not about lovely people like you.
I heard this funny story KLG. A teenager asked her dad if it cost too much money to get married. And He told her that he is still paying for it after he married her mom ....
