Velvet Sky *part2*

He smiled. Again,a helpless smile. I wanted to beg for the real one.

"Yeah,I've been riding the train of thought also."

A breeze blew,brushing back my hair and moving black clouds away from the moon in the velvet sky.

I would have killed for some stars but instead I got fireflies leaving teardrops everywhere.

Well,have to make do I guess.

"What have you been thinking about?"

He sighs."Anything and everything.Mostly about us." Than he stood,abandoning me and the view. "My.....Robbie....foster dad caught me sneaking out so I think it's best if I go on my way."

I frowned. For two reasons.
Hes a liar and ''I dont know he is''.

"You won't be here tomorrow?"

Erik pecked me on my forehead. "Of course I will. I love you Skylar."

I ACHED for his lips to be on mine so bad I burned for him like a dessert needing rain.

Trust me,being boyfriend and girlfriend but also bestfriends is hard. Not for me though. I know I love him. Never will I doubt. I want to hug him,kiss him and never leave out of his presence. Hes afraid of getting serious.

He thinks it will mess up our friendship. I say it will make our bond stronger.

" Bye Erik." I called as he got covered with a blanket of fog. "love you too."

God knows how long I sat in the mud,staring at his shoe indents but when I realized,I quickly shot off the mud embarrased,and made my way for home.


Only ounce did I turn back,to pick up a black feather floating upon the mucky water.
