Silver rain

has some deep meaning, but don't feel bothered by not understanding.

With black eyes, the night stares down at me. Shadows of past times, haunts this place. And it just rains, And pours on me, Silver rain. Leafless trees, Empty, dead, infinite landscapes.. Smoking fire flowers. And it's just pouring down, Silver rain. Shadows of past, haunting this place. From distant lands I came from, Infinite light held me in his arms But, the sky went dark, And the flames of stars got swallowed by the fog, and the monotone grayness.. Everything is so dark, Blinding black. With darkness, the night stares at me, Shadows of the past haunt this place.. And it just keeps raining silver...

Nice work... the descriptions make it sound like an old war zone... dark memories and dark feelings of the past. These moments in life come and go. You'll find yourself doing fine, enjoying the way life is going and all of a sudden boom! A memory or a trigger of a memory comes and it consumes your mind. You expressed that feeling perfectly. I go through the same s**t... sometimes it can be a smell, a scenic view of something or just a complete sudden feeling of emptiness and you feel the pain of a past heartbreak. Nice work I enjoyed it :)

I used to work in a jail for a year... sometimes I will get a wiff of something that smells the same as when I worked there... it triggers this sickening feeling in my stomach like I want to puke lol
