Chapter 13

This is a disaster! Zardac shouted in his head. First Loki. Now Hope. Libra will pay. Soon.

          Zardac cried out in anger, launching a fire ball across the room.

          “Why?” Zardac yelled. The exclaimation echoed back at him from all sides.

          “Because you are not doing a good enough job.” An ancient voice replied. “You are bound to lose people if you can’t do your job right!”

          “Many apologies.” Zardac said, turning to kneel before the stone statue of the God Gemini.

          “Prove to me that you are sincere. True to the cause.” The voice commanded.

          “I will Gemini. I will. I am your loyal servant.”

          “Then prove it. Bring your sister to me, one way or the other. Just do it!”

          “Yes my lord.” Zardac said.

          The room turned silent.

          “Guards!” Zardac called.

          Two mice men entered the throne room. They bowed their heads.

          “Fetch me Charity and Aries. I have a job for them to do.”
